Comment...
All Fouls were correctly awarded with the correct action taken. The referee correctly identified the smaller fouls that normally goes un-missed and correctly awarded them. The referee also tried to play advantage when possible which was shown in the 39min. The penalty was correct awarded. There was discussion as to whether the challenge happened in the penalty area. It was hard to see on video replays and therefore the referee did good to award the penalty 



Positioning

EXCELLENT / GOOD / SATISFACTORY / POOR / UNACCEPTABLE

Comment...
The referee was always in good positions which allowed him to make all the correct deicisons that he made. The referee also took up good positions when there was a set play. The referee was always up with play which helped with his decision making. 


Man Management

EXCELLENT

Comment...
The referee used his man management skills in order to keep complete control of the game. He regularly spoke to players after a challenge and would often explain reasons for a decision. He used the relevant communcation methods depending on the type of challenge. He often gave quick short chats. This was often used in the first half with Alves for several challenges before he correctly got booked.



Card Issuing

EXCELLENT 

Comment...
All cards that were given throughout the game were correctly administered. The referee correctly showed the red card to Blue 26 for Denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity by foul in the 52min. Alves was correctly booked in the 22min for persistent infringements. Other cautions were all worthy of the yellow card. 

Fitness

EXCELLENT 

Comment...
The referee had excellent fitness which helped with making the key decisions.

Comment...
Both referees helped to support the referee in decisions and all offside calls were correct and no decision was missed by either assistants.
